There are many more cars listed with purportedly original documents and they are reproductions. I hope people are doing their homework and due diligence and not relying only on docs to authenticate these cars.

Personally, never seen the "A, B, or C" for the Muncie transmission model build date stamped on the PoP, even when stamped on the transmission.

Also, the first number in the trans stamping is not necessarily the year of manufacture of the trans, it actually refers to the model year of the car, so in the example above the "0" refers to 1970 model year. Albeit in the example above the date does coincide to 1970 due to the month. Lots of examples of 1970 model year trans builds in December 1969 with a "0" as the first number of the trans stamping, but letter code referring to December 1969 build date.
