That and the floor pans cut just behind the floor brace, and not a trace of green paint on the back half. Instead, the back half is either silver or primer down to the bones. It was fairly common to do a similar "repair" back in the day on an upper end car.

sometimes they are not worth saving. i think this one qualifies for that category.
