Timing cover wanted

I'm looking for a timing cover for a 1968 small block Chevrolet with an 8" balancer. Might be used earlier. I don't know if they're dated. Thank you, Joe

The timing tab on this cover is 3/4" sticking off the cover & not the long, later style...if that helps. Thanks again, Joe

Guessing this is the style of cover you need? They are dated at least through the end of '67 production, and I'm pretty sure I've seen one with a '68 date. Good luck with the search!

I found one on e-bay this morning. It was dated 11-67, so I bought it. Thanks to everybody who read my post....Joe
