RS canisters
 

69 Camaro RS canisters…. I’m wondering if there is anyone out there restoring the canisters for the RS doors? As well as the valve on the tank? I contacted bob Demmel who does the c3 corvette stuff but have not heard back yet. Are the repops any good or do they just leak? I worry about NOS and age of the rubber inside.

Bob is unavailable for a few weeks. Try him back after Thanksgiving. He may do them or have a source that can.

When i was getting parts plated i sent mine i put rubber plugs in the ends to seal them up they turned out nice but still got t some stuff inside i put wd 40 inside and it freed them up

The ones I bought from CHQ are still working after 2 years with no issues.
