1969 1970 3909879 & 3916178 exhaust manifolds - no smog - OCT & DEC 69 dates
 

Hi Friends, another rare item here.

A pair of original big block BBC 454 396 or 427 manifolds:

The left / driver's side / 3909879 / 879 is dated L-30-9 or December 30, 1969

The right / passenger side / 3916178 / 178 is dated J-14-9 or October 14, 1969

The date spread is there, but based on context clues of their shared condition and patina and where I found them, I believe them to be a matched pair that has not been separated.

BOTH great for an early 1970 / Q1 HiPo - LS6 car or LS5 L78 L89 L34 L35

Hard to find pieces and a great early 1970 model year dates! Many photos below, take a look at these.

The best cars deserve the best parts. Of course, if dates don't interest you, this is still a great CA rust, and more importantly, major pit free original pair. take a look at the photos again.

No evident repairs, just the heat riser is broken, as they so often are, no cracks visible, ears all good, very, very presentable IMHO. Mating surface nice and straight as shown.

All studs appear to be original, not perfect, but could still be useable IMHO.

Not easy to find these things, but here you are!

1969 SS396 L35 L34 L78 L89 L72 COPO SS specifically 1970 up 454 LS5 and LS6 cars too... and fit nearly any BBC.
