guy hired Steve Magnate to narrate, so he's going high profile on this auction. Glad it's not Barrett Jackson or Mecum.

I think the video contains a lot of misinformation. I haven't put eyes on the car but lots of modifications and rattle canning. I could really go further but rather not. Where is the missing lug nut, or is the stud broken?? Really...

It is an interesting Yenko that looks to be frozen in 1984.

You can almost hear a Springsteen song on the radio

headers, traction bars, Accel yellow plug wires

The ad shown in the vid is from 1984 and the car had 26k miles on it same miles as today

has SYC decals in the trunk stuck to the quarters - one is CYS

SW fuel pump from the 60s or 70s . I have one like that from the Yenko estate sale

decal on the front spoiler looks like same letters as the Yenko stripe

someone painted the 427 numbers red

I was corresponding with the owner of this Yenko in 1984. I dug out the letter and photos today. At that time it was owned by John Schilp of Tranquility NJ and he was asking 17,500 for the car. The car was purchased by Milton Robson and was in his collection until his auction a number of years ago.

I have started to see Steve more often lately on a few YouTube channel videos again. I believe a few years back it was reported that he had a rare brain infection and it didn't really look good.

Later that year, (2023 I believe) it was reported that "he started feeling some back pain accompanied by dizziness and dehydration. A trip to the doctor revealed some brain swelling (encephalitis) and he was admitted to the hospital. In the end, Steve was suffering from a decades-old back injury that was compounded by dehydration—the result of years of stooping over lifting heavy objects. Thanks to a long stint on a ventilator and a tracheotomy followed by weeks in a wheelchair combined with physical therapy, Steve is in good spirits and now only a few weeks away from returning to his home in Massachusetts".

You can tell he's been through a lot, and the gray hair ages his appearance that's for sure.
