----I believe I saw this Chevelle on the hauler at Frost Chevrolet in Wellesley Mass. I know, I'm older than dirt. I was there looking for a Chevelle and the hauler was delivering another Chevelle. I was so young and stupid that I didn't like that there were no SS emblems. All the cars on the hauler were COPO's, but only one was coming off at Frost and were ordered by other dealers.....Bill S

COPO Chevelle

The Chevelle was mine and it sold today. The car was originally sold from Norwood Motor Company in Warwick, RI.

The Buyer of my car is the owner of Balise Chevy. Norwood Motor Company has been sold twice and it is now Balise Chevy. The car is going home and is going to be put on the showroom floor!

Pretty Cool!

I made a post in the parts/memorabilia section looking for Norwood memorabilia. The new owner would really like to have a dealer emblem and a license plate frame. Let me know if you can help.

Congrats on the sale, good to see it going back home to someone who will appreciate it.

Balise is a big company here in RI. They had Balise Chevrolet for quite a while, and have started buying up quite a few dealerships in the state. They also bought HURD Chevrolet, (still using the HURD name because they already have a Balise Chevrolet) and bought Colonial Toyota which is now called Toyota of Smithfield (because they already own a Balise Toyota).

They also, just in RI alone have Nissan, Genesis, Honda, Subaru, and VW dealerships, two large auto body collision centers, and 6 mega car washes.

I have a Scuncio ex drag car Camaro, and back in the 60s and 70s, second to Scuncio, Norwood was a Chevy dealer in RI who definitely dabbled in the super car arena, and at the local drag strips as well.
