NOS 3860010 8" harmonic balancer / damper SHP L78 L72 396 427
 

Hi Gang, a cool NOS treat here.

An NOS in the old GM box large diameter 8" balancer 3860010 cast 3870325 and I think another part number is 3879623 - it's (double) stamped 0010 as well.

The keyway and the timing line mark are aligned.

The box was untouched for more than 50 years, I just opened it today - it's dated 04-24-75

There's some flash oxidization / I hesitate to call it surface rust, but it should clean up easily. It's perfect of course functional wise, just needs paint. Rubber is good.
