'62 Corvette 360hp Fuelie, Claimed All Original

Interesting car still wearing CA black plates and looking pretty dirty under the hood. Would be pretty incredible if it were still the original paint. Also neat having all the owner history back to the original purchaser in San Diego. Cool car.

----Tony,,,I had a chance to buy this 62 from Mike Lott from Wadsworth Ohio back in 1990 (the last name mentioned on one of the pages) right after he bought it. It had the big metallic brakes (RPO 687) back then, and I don't see that mentioned in the description. The car is a for real fuelie and it looks exactly like it did when Mike showed it to me. He had it such a short time that I couldn't dig up the cash and someone else grabbed it. I will say that the paint job I see sure didn't look like what I see now. I just guessing, but I think it's been painted!....Bill S

I didn't see the drums nor the quick steering adapter. I was looking at the backing plates, and they look like standard issue. Perhaps RPO 686 metallic linings? I could not determine by the pics if the wheels are real wide wheels.

----It was a long time ago, so I may have mis-remembered, but I do remember that the car was very special. And maybe Mike mis-represented it just a bit. It's also possible that those rare parts were scrounged for another project back when the provenance wasn't as important. I do also remember thinking those parts were worth a ton, even back then....Bill S

What a neat Corvette!

Love that dirty patina engine bay.

Wonder when this scratch happened? Best place for it to happen though.
