Actually a 402 rather than 396 in '72, but nonetheless...very cool car in Bronze. I miss my W-code Bronze '72 El Camino...which the original owner ordered this color because Black wasn't available that year.

"Matching numbers" are close, but no cigar.

EDIT: Yes, looks like the seller made a typo when listing the car's VIN. Probably should be 1D37U2K644429, in which case stamped CON VIN on engine and trans would be correct.

I'm guessing the seller posted the incorrect VIN and it should have been 1D37U2644429.
