'72 Chevelle #s SS396/4-sp
Actually a 402 rather than 396 in '72, but nonetheless...very cool car in Bronze. I miss my W-code Bronze '72 El Camino...which the original owner ordered this color because Black wasn't available that year.

"Matching numbers" are close, but no cigar.
EDIT: Yes, looks like the seller made a typo when listing the car's VIN. Probably should be 1D37U2K644429, in which case stamped CON VIN on engine and trans would be correct. |
I'm guessing the seller posted the incorrect VIN and it should have been 1D37U2644429.

Nice ride, I like the 71-72 Chevelles. Weren’t the same wheels used on second gen Z28 Camaros?
