Looking for info on this 1-piece aluminum bell. Looks to have a drain hole of about 1" diameter, possibly added. Owner is selling as a sbc bell and no other info from him. Thanks for any help you can provide, I appreciate it.

Looks like an old truck bell. Size of the pilot hole is too large for a car and the 3 point throw out bearing bracket is nothing I've ever seen on a car bell, but never say never....

Looks like a hydraulic TOB. The hole is probably a clutch inspection hole instead of a drain hole.

Thanks for the replies. The pilot hole (to me) appears to be standard diameter. They did mention that it has a "tilton" style TOB for what it's worth and believe it to be aftermarket. I've been able to "categorize" bellhousings from a distance (swap meet) by visually measuring the distance from the edge of the pilot to the edge of the machined pivot hole.. a standard passenger car bell will have a distance of about 3/16"-1/4". A small pilot bell from '63 will have nearly a 1/2" distance. The truck bell (from my experience) has virtually no gap between the pilot and the pivot hole. Also, this has no reinforcement rib along the starter area like a 621 vs a 403.
