1969 Chevelle SS (Malibu) with some interesting options.
From my understanding, the early built 69s received the “Malibu” name plate on the quarter panels?

Yes, some early Oshawa-built SS equipped 69 Chevelles did get the 'Malibu' script on the rear quarters. There's another one shown in Dale McIntosh's book on 69 Chevelles.

I like 69 chevelles better than the look of 1970s great car and I wish it was in my garage!!

my 69 SS was Framingham built and it has one lr rear malibu emblem, I and several other body men looked and see no signs of quarter repl and build sheet proves its real SS

So you are saying Malibu emblem on LH quarter and no emblem on RH quarter?
