Silver Pearl w/Black interior, L76 327/365hp, 4-speed. manual transmission.
Every one of us can appreciate a finely restored vintage Corvette. The work that’s involved in bringing a car back from the brink to its former glory is truly a time consuming and painstaking task. Not to mention an expensive one. The end result is always a site to behold! However, there are many of us out there who enjoy driving their cars further than on and off of a trailer. And as a result, we increasingly getting requests for “driver quality” mid-year Corvettes. And an excellent example of that is the Silver Pearl ’65 presented here! This is a mid-year that has been maintained, driven and enjoyed over the decades. It’s a great looking car, but it’s also a car you can drive anywhere without fear off needing a security detail following you! It features a #’s matching L76 small block, backed by a 4-speed manual transmission. Additional options include power brakes, power windows, aluminum knock off wheels, wrapped in white wall radial tires, am/fm radio, Teakwood steering wheel and a new exhaust system. It’s been painted once, and interior is original and in very nice condition! Newer soft top. Just serviced and ready to go! This ’65 is one of the nicest running mid-years we’ve had in a while! A blast to drive! Video Link:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WMw_peBbRuQ&t=19s Corvette Mike Link: https://corvettemike.com/used-corvet...e-convertible/ |
----Looks like a great driver! 365's are hoot with the right gear! I love that it doesn't have sidepipes. Don't mind them as both of mine have sidepipes, but there are enough sidepipe Corvettes out there. Frosting on the cake would be if there was N11 off-road under car exhaust with either 3.70's or 4.11's. One of the best sounding exhaust set-ups at 5,000 rpm up to 6,500 rpm!....Bill S

The fact it’s been repainted helps to relax the nerves when out driving and enjoying a cruise.
With an Original Paint Survivor on the road it gets nerve wracking. Not fun. Looks like a reproduction teak, but love the color it adds to the interior. |
----There are only a couple of things that "don't' need to be changed or fixed", and really don't matter on the fair price Steve has quoted. There should be a bypass from the water pump to the intake (probably about at the most a 50 buck fix). Then, who ever installed the repro seat covers didn't do the hog rings correctly. It's something most of us could do ourselves and hog rings are cheap. If the metal wires aren't in the covers (that the hog rings need to connect to) they can be bought from Al Knock for probably another $50. This in no way impacts the value of this good looking 65! If I had room I'd buy it for a driver....Bill S
