Scammers
I've had PM's from 2 scammers recently. The solution is to make SYC a paid site to join.It amasses me some of the long time members, with high end cars, who won't pay a measly $30.00!Paying up front would solve the problem.

I've been paying for almost 22 years. It has not hurt me a bit and would agree with BJCHEV396.

With the difference in the two currencies it cost me around $40.00 but it's worth every penny cause it's the best site on the Net!

But what about the really great members albeit cheapskates we don’t want to lose?:dunno: Also, we’re risking input from others who may surf in but can’t add their sometimes valuable comments. Even a lot of us here, myself included may not initially have joined up if payment req’d. up front?:hmmm: A conundrum for sure but w/ everyone working together also using Steve’s Scammer Alert Thread, let’s hope we can continue to thwart these loser’s attempts around here and they go play their games elsewhere. SYC rocks! :beers: ~ Pete . |
Just make it so that an admin has to approve all new members. One forum I am a member of requires applicants to give a phone number when applying. If the site owner thinks something looks fishy he will call the number and speak with the person
