'70 Chevelle SS396 4-sp, Black Cherry on Saddle
Neat car with a CE block and no docs. Color combo looks better than I would have guessed. No docs is a bummer, combined with the $78k ask.

My brother just tried to buy this offered the dealer 76 he scoffed said 78 was a deal. Then called him back two days later saying 73 if he wanted it he rightfully didn't buy it

That is the bad thing about most dealers. They seem to end up with a good portion of the cars out there then mark them up and say they are worth their asking price. Looks like a decent car from the photos.

Looking at the sellers info, I may be wrong but a rear end built on Dec17 would not make it into a 12A car, would it??????

I know this is an old post but I missed it when it was current and hoping to learn a little. Only seeing the asking price and not what it actually sold for, was it priced high? If not, was it the quality of the restoration, color combination, or a combination of all the above that commanded the asking price with no docs or matching numbers?
