19,379-Mile '67 GTX, #s 440/4-sp
What a car this is...and sold new a few miles from where I grew up, in West Allis, WI. The selling dealer's building, Hub Motor Sales, is still there and is currently a 'help center.'
Pretty obvious this car was spared the Wisconsin winters...just incredible. Ironically, the parts store I cut my teeth in was located at 5825 W. National Ave.
Can't say I remember Hub being there. I asked my Dad about it just now. He says "Oh yeah! Used to sell them gear reduction starters like they were going out of style in the winter" Aside from the side story, what a killer car!! |
