'69 Mustang Fastback S-Code #s 390/4-sp, Sitting Since '76

Cool car, though it was stored on a dirt floor since the 1970s and it shows.... Also a little concerning that the seller refuses to send additional floor pics, and instead says that everything will need to be replaced...yikes.

Interesting to see a 390/4-sp Mustang that wasn't ordered as a Mach 1.

That’s a can of worms there.

"I restore Mustangs and know Midwest rust and this car is easily restorable".
Yep, just plan on a complete 1 piece floor from firewall to tail panel and front frame/apron assemblies to start with. It actually wouldn't be a terrible job to just cut it all out and replace, but my feeling is the price is a tad high for all that and then exterior sheetmetal to match.

Cool car, but yikes! Basically, he’s selling a car which should come with a Virginia Mustang catalog with it since you need to replace absolutely everything. What would be left original?

Interior in great shape except the carpet and split driver’s seat upholstery? What about the warped and cracked dash, cracked steering wheel, several rear interior panel retaining holes wallowed out, sagging headliner?:confused2:

Mach 1 or GT options might command more of a higher price, but I’d think no way any of them is worth his asking price in that condition. :eek2:

Cheers
Dave
