NOS Thrush muffler - round can
19 Attachment(s)
Hi Gang, unfortunately, I only have the one - as shown, in nice shape.
Sizing shown in the photos. Part number 4164 Genuinely old school and original for sure - made in Canada and before there were full six digit postal codes! The address for Thrush was "Toronto 14, Ont." A two digit postal code, and according to Wikipedia, Toronto went to three digit codes briefly as of May 1, 1969 - so presumably the box was printed before then. Give your neighbors the gift of sound this holiday season! $250 PPFF plus shipping / insurance if wanted. Cheers all, Anthony |
BUMP, cool muffler IMHO...
Thanks all! |
I had these on my Chevelle when I Street Raced the car in the early ‘80’s.....I no longer have the Mufflers, but I still own my Chevelle :)

^ hah, yep!
Bump Gang, make an offer if you want some cool wall art! Cheers all, Anthony |
I haven't hung this up on my wall yet if any of you are interested...
Let me know, cheers. Anthony |
Very cool. All my beaters when I was a kid had no exhaust systems, I used these or cherry bombs
|
Very cool indeed. I remember these being a few bucks cheaper than a cherry bomb and the purple hornies. For that reason they were extemely popular and every parts store sold them.
