Tired Original '67 Camaro RS/SS, #s 350/4-sp
Neat car for sure, but IMO this one is pretty tired and deserves a resto versus preserving it as a survivor as the seller suggests.

I recognized that right away. Seller recently purchased it from Heartbeat City. Way more rust repair/replacement than just a floor pan and a cosmetic restoration. Plenty of pics on HBC

Really? This car would qualify for Legends classification? Then I need to submit my 69!

So he left out a few key words of Jerry's description, shouldn't be a big deal, RIGHT ?? He's hoping to get anything even close to what he paid for a car that was already overpriced and needs a total restoration that he may not be capable of. Could be a very expensive lesson in buying a car sight unseen and, possibly, not inspected on his behalf. |
WTF....The report says...."Estimated Value:60,000.00-80,000.00 restored condition."
That's not the estimated value. |
The only thing it survived was the 60's. I still love it though, it's a Chevy!

I’m amazed that the bidding has already eclipsed $25k.

Yup...:eek2: I believe Stubbings had it priced at 23k, so if he paid that, transport to CA and the cert inspection, he may get his money back out. Don't get me wrong, it's a cool car that deserves restoration, especially with it's original drivetrain. I looked at that last spring on HBC, but the price was too much for me to justify. |
Prior to it being at Heartbeat it was for sale in NY state missing some front bodywork.
