'67 Corvette Coupe, #s 427/435hp, "True Surivor"

Talk about minimal info to go on, and the "True Survivor" claim is the seller's, not mine. Pretty intriguing ad, though, and I know I'd be digging into this one a little deeper if I were in the market.

I never understand why sellers set themselves up for so many calls and emails and requests for more information. Just does not make sense to list a car and especially a rare one without significant photos and detailed information and verification. Better him than me I guess

Looks like some funny stuff going on with the front end. I don't like the fit of the hood nor the alignment of the "427" numbers.

Less than 1 day on the market...65 bids and at 75k.

Maybe if I win Powerball tonight, I could have a chance at it.

For reference here are examples of generally accepted number mis-alignment.

Bill,

I’m glad you showed this mis-alignment of the 427 and I’m assuming this is your Survivor as the reference.

The other day I was comparing this exact issue on other 67’s and found several others that were mis-aligned but I didn’t want to bring it up.

We are kind of splitting hairs, but both of the examples here are not perfectly true / level.
I don’t think the line workers spent much time with this adjustment.

Thanks, Chris

----It was always the 2. Have seen it many times, although there are plenty of original 67's with better alignment! For the miles this is a whopper of a survivor. Someone loved this car and used it properly as far as I can see from the pics

I heard about a corvette (car and parts) collection coming available in Virginia Beach or near Va Beach earlier this year. Perhaps this is/was part of it.

Huh,
What happened to this Corvette? Error in listing?

Or a purchase was made.

What gets me is look these cars are 50 plus years old. In my opinion I do not make my cars perfect anymore. WHY? they were not from the factory. I believe that is what really gives them character in my book.
