Interesting car claiming to be a #s L78. What do you folks think about the partial VIN?

I would have to agree on the partial. I dont like either stamping, pad or partial.

Car is an 11c. Was Norwood stamping VIN in that location in that time frame?....Joe

Nice car, but I wouldn't spend L78 money for it. That VIN stamp is weird - the picture almost makes it look like the numbers are raised. I had to look at it a couple of times.

Also, maybe push that driver's headlight door all the way closed before you take the picture! :rolleyes2:

6-8 tach? Looks much newer than speedo face.

The partial vin should be on the deck in that time frame, also tach and gauge car with no clock
