Dealer Emblem - Booth Chevrolet
 

Wanted. I've been searching for a Booth Chevrolet, Babylon New York dealer emblem for about 5 years. I have acted on leads and suggestions but so far they haven't produced an emblem. I'm updating my post in case anyone has one - please PM. Thanks.

Not too far from me. It’s currently Arnold Chevrolet/Buick, I’ve been in there a few times in the past. I will keep an eye out for you. Just curious as to what the previous suggestions were to see if they are different than what I may have in mind.

Thanks very much, there have to be a few in your area! You asked about what steps I've taken to locate a Booth Chevrolet dealer emblem to date:

- Contacted Arnold Chevrolet
- Placed wanted postings on SYC and TC
- Placed wanted postings on Craigslist Long Island
- Regularly monitor eBay and have search criteria set to provide an me alert for new listings
- Have reached out to car guys living on Long Island (and a couple who don't but who enjoy the challenge of the search for a tough to find part / item) to be on the lookout.
- Have done several different Google searches, one of which produced a lead however the gentleman I contacted was not a car-guy, liked the emblem's aesthetic and wouldn't sell it or loan it to me to duplicate.
- Have contacted auto wrecking yards in the Long Island area for leads.

It looks like you’ve got all bases covered. I will reach out to a few people and let you know if something turns up.

There is a Booth emblem on Ebay currently.
A bit pricey though.

I heard Lloyd bought one the other day :D but really, what are the chances another one surfacing now after all this time.

Thanks for all the alerts to the eBay listing! Its hard to believe that after over 5 years of searching two Booth emblems show up in the same week! SYC Member Gary K (GotGrunt) who lives on LI in NY found one and kindly reached out to me a few days ago, offered it at a very fair price and I've received it. He was super helpful and a pleasure to work with. I'm sure there is someone else who needs one out there!
