Guy from AZ puts Koenigsegg’s freevalve tech on a Miata

In 2 months this guy built a solenoid activated valve train for a Miata and drives it around.
The first time I ever played with an electric solenoid I was under 10 years old & I wanted to use them to actuate everything.
I have been thinking about this concept in relation to an auto engine for close to 30years -
With this you have infinitely tunable camshaft durations -

I've had the pleasure of meeting Wes and seeing his project's ....

He's far more intelligent than his video presents and is the future of the car hobby. I can't wait to see what he comes up with next.

If my memory is correct he's going to ASU and works at the Porsche dealer in Scottsdale as a tech.

I first saw the freevalve Koenisegg stuff when Christian presented it a few years ago - then when I saw Wes with the one cylinder engine with the free valve and the 73 vette in the garage I thought hmmm I am going to keep an eye on him.
And yes he is WAY more intelligent than he gives him self credit for.
