'67 Camaro SS, #s 350/4-sp, Window Sticker, POP
But wait...evidently there's no CAR in this auction, just a bunch of awesome docs, a trim tag, and the complete running gear. Although it isn't specifically mentioned in the description, I see the title is reported 'clean' so I'm guessing there is a freshly cut VIN and title included, too.
Looks like 124377N110xxx...wish I could make out the last three numbers. Body number is 10435 for posterity. Link to 1967 Camaro SS Docs and Drivetrain https://photos.smugmug.com/Ebay/i-H2...%281%29-X2.jpg https://photos.smugmug.com/Ebay/i-4M...s-l1600-X2.jpg |
This car is 124377N110438.

Yes the TT has been left attached to part of the firewall which was torched off. Look at the lower right hand corner of the pic. I am guessing the seller did not include a pic of the vin tag for fear the auction would get flagged.
Shouldn't the tag have a 4P designation? |
Good eye Lynn. Guess that's one way to avoid the "that tags been off the car" statement. Keep the original rivets and all is fine!

Very early production didn't seem to have the whole "4" series figured out yet. From the CRG site... The POP does have the correct MS code for 350 with manual trans. The 4P code was not used at the start of production at either the Van Nuys plant or the Norwood plant. Van Nuys started using the 4P code on the SS350 cars in September, but Norwood didn't start using the 4P code until October. Early Van Nuys SS350 cars and Norwood SS350 cars built before October will not have the 4P code to verify that they are SS's. The 4P code can indicate either a SS350 or a L30/M20. Usage of the 4P code with the L30/M20 is believed to have started in the late December 1966 / January 1967 timeframe. |
I see the torch line now wow
