Krieg Bros Chevrolet in Texas

This dealership has been closed for some time now, but a friend is preparing his '67 for PV (Performance Verification) judging so we took a road trip to have the car pose for a photo at this nostalgic building. It was a beautiful 65 degree day and we had to run the 427/435 to redline for the PV preparation. The car did well with only one issue that we could find needing attention. The odometer and trip odometer were right on during a 20 mile charted course. The clock kept perfect time. The car pulled a bit to the right due to heavy winds from the North, but it ran steady going back on the same road. No squeaks or rattles, what a great ride on a February day.

Damn, that's a cool old pic too. 1936 outside and looks like a '38 inside. |
Chris, thank you for finding the original shot.....

VERY nice, both the car and building. Looks like the building is for sale with the signs in the window. I'm surprised with the way antiques are these days, someone keeps the building and refreshens the structure to make it safe and sound, and runs a store out of it of some sort.

Great pic Tim and thanks for sharing. Nothing beats a black/red stinger '67 big block convertible. Good luck with the PV. Great car.
