'71 Firebird Formula 455HO...$182,000
Wow...I know a few of you guys on the site have owned some really choice '70-71 Formulas, but $182k for this car seems well into the stratosphere, even for a later Super Duty car. What do you guys think?
A guy coulda cleaned the hand print off the passenger fender before snapping these pics.... Neat that it was sold new at Ernie Von Schledorn Pontiac, my hometown dealer in Milwaukee. He's loony-tunes on that price. Maybe $55K on its best day? Not a popular color.

What do you want for $182,000? I like it but yeah the price is nuts. |

He was probably at this auction and saw the Black car. But the quality of the restoration on the black car is Gold Standard - this green car doesn't even come close.

That's my old Canadian girl! I do miss her.

----That Gateway group seems to always stretch the edges of description and rarity. I guess they are just trying this gigantic price out on the public to see if any of it will stick. I'm not going for it any more than any of you guys,,,LOL!.....Bill S

If the car was detailed to the Nth degree like STEVE's cars- it's still doesn't break the the six figure mark without 50k cash in the trunk.

Wrong core support that one’s off of 1973 to 75 that’s not good!
