Just qurious. Is you car a Norwood 70 z28? If its A vanuys car. It should have a black floor pan. Otherwise depends on the paint used to paint over the red oxide. Also preparation they used. If it was just painted over without sanding preparation. It may come off easily. Is it flaking off? That might make it easy to remove with a high pressure air nozzle. Otherwise using chemicals may disturb the red oxide. Maybe someone else has some more to add.

Norwood 70z28 , never thought of trying air pressure, ill give it a try
Thanks |
I've seen some videos of dry ice blasting, a shop in Cleveland does it now. They use it to remove undercoating, leaving the original red oxide untouched. Maybe that would work ?
