Steering column & brake switch questions

5 Attachment(s)
The engine compartment side of my steering column received a shot of high gloss black back in the late '70's. I have most of it stripped off but now would like to know what should this look like? Anyone have pics of an original or properly restored one?
Rag joint connection?
Retainer cup?
Snap ring?
reverse lockout lever bushing?
Spring around main shaft?
I'm also curious which brake switch is correct. One is off my car, the other was on a 4 speed pedal setup I purchased.

Jim,

In case you are not aware of it, your lever that the lockout rod connects to is bent towards the firewall. The base of the lever should be a right angle to the column.

If you need a picture of a non-bent one, let me know and I will email it to you.
