transmission correct date range

Hello-
How much of an extreme date range is acceptable for a Muncie in a 69 Camaro. Looking to at least have correct date time frame, if not the original transmission for my car. Car is an 02A and i got a line on a late November 68 trans. Too far out to be "acceptable"
Thanks!

M20 [all BB]: P9A01A, P9A13A, P9A14A, P9B01A.

M21 [L34, L78]: P9A22B, P9A23B [best for L521xxx]; P9A04B [best for L522xxx]. That’s correct; not used in date order.

M22 [L78-no 02A examples these are known M22 Camaro dates]: P9T30C, P9A06C, P9A24C, P9A27C, P9A31C.
