'65 Malibu SS, California Black Plate Project
I fondly remember seeing cars like this in the mid '90s when I was going to college in LA - they seemed to be everywhere and we didn't know how good we had it.
This one looks like a worthy resto project - orig 250hp 327 and 12-bolt rear, with some good options. That’s Anthony’s car from California.

"we didn't know how good we had it."
You can say that again. I've never noticed a cowl tag with the lacquer reference before, but there is a lot I haven't seen on old cars. |

Thanks for the call out Tony, I do think it's a good project. Rear quarter panel, roof, and rear window channel need love as well as the drive train of course. This is a complete restoration project, but it's a neat car IMHO. If anyone's interested, ping me - I've got at least 100 more pics. Let me know if anyone wants to come by and look at it or take it for a test push. Cheers all, and thanks. Anthony |
Hi Gang, I've relisted it on eBay here: https://www.ebay.com/itm/143402446770

That car was very striking when new. White on white with turquoise trim.
