1962 409 engine
 

1962 correct 409/409 horse engine rebuilt and ready to go. New standard bore Ross pistons, crank is 10/10, all machine work done by the machine shop owner for his own Bubbletop project but health prevented completion. $8,500 for what you see in the pictures. I also have fresh correct carbs already restored, 919 dual point distributor, idler pulley, a perfect set of 62 exhaust manifold and a set of new 1963 425 hp manifolds, correct elephant ear generator that I would price in addition to the buyer of the engine but I won't sell the parts unless the motor sells. Reason for selling is I have 3 of these 62 engine put back and don't anticipate using them.

Thanks for resizing the pictures. I also forgot to mention that the engine pad is blank because it has been decked clean.

This engine is still available. It has sat in my garage for 10 years and I haven't come up with a car to use it in so its time that I sell it to someone that will.
