cleaning muncie case

hello, FNG here, wondering what you guys do to get Muncie cases clean and looking like new? I hate glass beading them

thanks

Vapor blast, lots of motor cycle resto shops have this system.

1) Shot Blasting in Wheelabrator or Vulcan

Very Fine Shot for 5 minutes

OR

2) Run in Shaker Machine with Aluminum "Star" Media

THANKS ALL, I am searching for local vapor blasting, I was wondering if there was some type of acid you could spray on and rinse off?

I am thinking i used oven cleaner and a brush

Paint stripper and a brush, followed by oven cleaner and a brush. That is if it's not terminally tarnished.

plastic media or dry ice blasting.

I have done about 50 cases like this one and they all turn out very nice. They don't finger print and oil wipes right off. Might be a bit different than Oem new but customers always appreciate them.

No, it is a good solvent bath, then hot water washer, then a high quality fine glass bead in a Clemco blaster and finally a airless steel shot tumbler. I have ran them through the ceramic scrubber after the shot peen but the difference is minimal for the extra process and labor cost.
