The factory frames do get some droop over time. I have heard of guys doing frame pulls to bring it back together for less or no shims.

After it was correctly aligned I take it? In my experience, that is not common. Usually there are very few shims to work with in a first Gen F body car when it is correctly aligned. The frame horns "Sink" inward after years of use causing negative camber (resulting in very few shims). Many Big Block sub frames we've worked on had to be pulled back into shape just to get them into specs.

Car did a lot of heavy street racing back in the day not sure if that has anything to do with the alignment spects

Have you driven it? Sometimes everything settles in place after a trip around the block. Could be someone over corrected the negative camber by over pulling but I but if you hit a few bumps it will correct itself.

Was it a Tire store align? Bill is correct it should be less shims with age.

Not uncommon. Mine ended up needing several shims on the driver's side when I had it aligned two years ago. Not a monkey doing it either...

This is what it ended up with.
