1969 Plymouth GTX 440 4-speed survivor

approximately 50% original paint and original upholstery, door panels, bumpers, Bright Work and emblems, and great options... but not the original motor. Sure like these, but I think it might be a little over priced?

Gotta love when guys adjust the redline on their tachs for photos.....6500 rpm redline. If that's what your shifting at, your over revving that motor...lol

Always like those cars growing up. A few of the boys from Winnipeg used to torment Portage Avenue with their Mopars back in the day. My buddy Lorne had a white 68 440 GTX that was real stout, his pal Fletcher had a 68 Dart, and Sheldon had his Blown Demon. Those boys owned the streets in the mid to late 70's.

A friend had a 1968 Plymouth Sport Fury back in the early 80's. 383 factory 4 speed. Funny story: he was a small guy (not very tall). When just cruising he would red line 2nd gear and jump to 4th gear , skipping 3rd. His words: To much of a reach for me to grab 3rd gear. He did it all the time. I can still see it clearly in my mind. ROB

Sean... are you sure it was 7800 rpm on a stock 440. If so you probably rebuilt it a couple of times. Now if it was a 340....story might be different. The HP and torque numbers on a stock 440, at 7800 rpm would be on the decline.

NorCam..... Fletcher's Dart was supposedly the fastest car in Winnipeg for many years. He still owns the Dart and shows up once or twice at a Sunday night cruise stop. My bud Darryl Klassen still owns his Plum Crazy Hemi Cuda. I believe he's had it since 1974!!! It was known as the Hampton Hemi back in the day.
