I was there. 14th row on the aisle.

I bought 3 tickets for $48 and sold two for $200-$250(I can't remember which).

Great show. The Stray Cats opened. I'd never heard of them. They withstood about 5 minutes of booing before they won us over.

Elvis only ever performed 2 times outside of the USA and I was lucky enough to see him.In the Spring of 1957 he was booked to play Montreal and Toronto.Elvis was controversial when he first came to fame....when he was on the Ed Sullivan Show the cameras only shot him from the waist up because of his hip swinging.....morals were different then,LOL! The Catholic Church kicked up such a fuss before Elvis' show in Montreal that it was cancelled and moved here to Ottawa. My mother won 4 tickets on a local radio station and I went with her and 2 of my cousins.I was 7 at the time so I don't remember much except that the screaming was very loud and Elvis had on a gold shiny jacket. He gave 2 shows and between concerts he had a cheese sandwich and a carton of milk!

Van Halen 1984 was my first concert, with Diamond Dave. Free tickets in a VIP Super Box at the Civic Arena from my buddy's dad. Amazing first concert at Dave was just a showman. Good memories, thanks.

I just turned 65 and I cannot remember my first concert, but in 1979 I was crusin around to all the local concerts in my new 79 Chevy. I can remember a night in Washington DC during the gas shortage when you could only buy gas every other day, We had to sleep in the van at a local gas station until the next morning.
I have gone to see the Eagles years in a row before Glen Frey died. I will be going to see the Eagles July 28, 2018 @ Citizens Bank Park in Phila. Glen Frey's son and Vince Gill will be filling in.
