Ceramic Coating Exhaust

Has anyone ever ceramic coated their entire exhaust system? I was thinking of coating my Gardner chambered exhaust before installing so it looks new forever. I have seen the aluminized exhaust systems discolour over time when they are driven regularly. I am concerned with changing the appearance of the exhaust, I don’t want it to look too shiny. Does anyone have any experience with this? Thanks for any input you may have.

Gardner makes a great concours system for max points in judging, but if you are going to ceramic coat it, you might as well get a stainless system from Stainless Works.

I want to run the Gardner because of the correct fit and sound. Just want it to stay perfect like stainless. I guess I want the best of both worlds.

----I have done bunches of Gardner exhausts and they are aluminized. I have very little to no deterioration. Just wipe them off every now and then, and they look great!......Bill S

I have used Jet Hot High Performance Coatings or Jet Hot Coat https://www.jet-hot.com/ cast iron color on my LS6 and other show cars and the results were superb. The jet Hot coat process dissipates heat quicker too. After three years of running on my LS6, there were zero signs of discoloration. What do you expect from a company who also coats exhaust systems for NASA. Jim
