69 12 bolt paint marks

What is the correct" or is there " inspections paint marks that where original to 69 camaros ?

There are no consistent marks that I know of. I'd restore it w/o.

Correct me if I am wrong Kurt but if there were paint markings it was under the finishing black paint of the diff.

I've seen some on top. But most don't have marks, IMO.

At least 3 12 bolts out of 69 Camaros that I have, have a splash of orange paint visible on the pinion nut and yoke.

June BE axle, only paint mark I have found to date.

Nothing consistent, per evidence above.
If you didn't find the mark, it's just restoration graffiti. :)
