Day II Stuff (Lakewood 3 Point Roll Bar)

I'm looking for some Day II period correct parts for my 69 car. I would be interested in a Lakewood 50000 3-Point Roll Bar if anyone still has one kicking around? Other things of interest would be some vintage Hurst Shocks for the rear and maybe a nice vintage tach. Last but not least, some period correct slicks or a nice set of M&H Racemaster street tires. L-60's and some correct period front runners? Let me know what you may have available in the way of Day II gear for Camaro.

Thanks :burnout:

That's good news Graeme!!! Glad you're going the day two route. The Lakewood bar is gonna be tough to find. Stefano had a guy that made some; maybe he can do up another batch.

I'll have to wait and see what possibly shakes out Dave? I saw one here a few months back but got to it a few minutes late as someone had already spoke for it. I think it was one of the ones from Stefano's run if memory serves me correct. If I can't source one, I have a guy up here who does chassis and cages and I'm sure he can make one up for me.

If so, I'll try and get the measurements from an original to make it correctly.

Bar is the same for many applications as it bolts down onto the lower legs, but it's the legs and mounting plate kit listed on the right of the above chart that differentiates them between cars. I was hoping for a complete kit with the mounts for a 1st gen Camaro.

Maybe see what your friend needs for the upper bar? Thanks Scott

That roll bar looks just like the one I bought here on this site a few years ago. With extra bar welded in.

I would sell the rollbar I have as I don,t have the car anymore. It came out of a 68 Camaro. Let me know if interested.

Good morning!
I have the 3 point bar you are a looking for. Problem is I am in the Montreal area and I ain't a gonna ship. If you will be in the area or have a friend who is travelling back and forth between Edmonton and Montreal we could load the bar up and you'd have your Lakewood bar. Painted rattle can black, but you can just start to make out the Lakewood decal.
Just an idea to mull over re. the shipping..

Ted,

Sending you a PM :)

Good afternoon!! Sent a PM to you earlier this afternoon. Hope you received it.
Is that where the Lakewood is going into. We'll have to wait until the weekend is finished as a lad from Port Colborne is apparently driving 6 hours to check out some of me parts.
O rockers, 441 heads - points distrib - 2 bbl + int all good for '69. Let's just hang on and I'll kinda dissuade him from the bar, or at least try.
Love your car me heartie!!
Ted
