(Video) Last rip in the 68 for this year.
Best way a car guy can spend his birthday? Cruising the back roads near home while pulling on a stick. Oh yeah...real cars always have three pedals!

Thanks...and yes, I am addicted to the whine of an M-22 as well.
It was a fun afternoon cruise and laughed when I came up on the late model Camaro who wouldn't move along. Raced an 08 Roush Mustang later in the day and got him by a couple fenders through third gear. |

Must be nice to drive on those open roads. Here in the Chicago area you have traffic lights every 1/2 mile, not fun driving stick. Very nice car you have...

Very nice! I kept waiting for the power shift though.

Re: (Video) Last rip in the 68 for this year.
Kinda hard power shifting while holding the camera, trying to steer with a knee or a pinkie finger and keeping control. Kinda like driving a stick with a coffee in one hand. Maybe next time I'll take my kids gopro and then I can bang through the gears, but by then it'll have a few power adders being done over the winter.
Yes Mark, we are spoiled up here with lots of open roads just 5 minutes from home that run clear to the Rocky Mountains. Very little traffic for the most part and some great twisty's to choose from. I drove through Chicago last year and flat out hated it. Didn't like all those tole roads either. |
