Deep Groove Pulley ID Help 3770245

6 Attachment(s)
Have two pulleys with the same part number on both of them. One is two groove and one is single groove. The number on both of them is A3770245CC and they are both deep groove. Camaro.org shows the 2 groove as Z/28 but not the single one. Any idea to year and application. Thanks, Larry. 520-349-2337

Someone Took The Upper Section Of the Top Pulley Off. That Part Is Pressed on.

That never interred my mind when looking at them initially. Going back and looking closer it makes since. There are no pry or grinding marks on the single ones. I actually have 3 single and 2 double groove pulley's. The single ones do look repainted. Is there any value for the single groove pulley's. This was all circle track stuff. Thanks, Larry.

BUT it appears there are spot welds on the two groove pulley ...

The 2 piece pulley is configured just like the one on my Caprice. It is welded. But the part number is different from yours. I think you should clean the paint off the single groove pulley. Going by the picture, I don't think it's the same number.

Hello, they are for sure the same number I have two others that are single and between the three you can see every number clearly. Its identical to the two groove numbers. You just don't see any sign of the spot welds though. Thanks, Larry

Larry -- if you look closely at your 4th picture with pulleys setting w/mounting surface up ... there appears to be pinch spot welds approx 1" apart. TAZ

Hello, yes on the double pulley there clearly is spot welds approx. 1" apart. But on the single ones you don't see any indication of the weld being removed like the ring was removed. Its the same on the other ones also. Larry

That would lead me to believe they were single groove pulleys from the start ... to remove the second groove, there would be evidence of separated spot welds. TAZ

Took a photo of one of the other single groove pulley's. Look where the part number was stamped. Doesn't appear the outer ring was ever on these. Larry
