Wanted- Factory 1972 Nova SS oil pan & timing cove

Guys i am looking for a original 1972 Nova SS 350 cubic inch factory oil pan and timing chain cover. I recently purchased this car, need the correct oil pan and timing cover for this 350 ci engine. No aftermarket parts please, need original parts only, thank you.

Would 1972 timing cover have the welded on timing tab?

I know I have a correct oil pan, but it is GRIMY. All I did was scrape off the top layer of crud.

The timing cover from the same engine had a bolt on timing tab, so I don't think it is original.

I have a cover. Its the type w/o the timing tab. I will check condition tonight.

Cover is decent.

Steve.

So, in 1972, the timing tab is not welded to the cover?

If so, I have grimy pan AND cover.

Just want to be sure I am doing right by a member here. I have two pans that I believe are correct for 72 Nova SS, as well as the timing cover with the bolt on timing tab. 72 Nova SS still had the 8 inch balancer, correct? I know for a fact that the two pans came from 1971 and 1972 model pickup truck 350 engines, but believe they are the same as his Nova.

Pics follow. The two pans on the right are what I believe are correct for a 72 Nova. The third (larger) pan is from a Corvette.

I am pretty good on parts ID up to 69, but not so much after that. Can someone confirm the two oil pans (he gets his pick) and timing cover are factory correct?

OH, threw in a pic of the bird because he looks like such a tough guy.

What does the inside of the pans look like

It is the standard built in windage set up, not the bolt-on windage tray & rail set up like the Corvette and Z got.

There was a difference between Truck oil pans & passenger cars.
It's been awhile, but I want to say a Truck has 2 baffles inside.

A 72 didn't get any Hipo goodies, no 8 inch balancer, no windage tray.
