Copo build dates
 

Does anyone have or know of a Canadian Documented COPO chevelle built prior to 06A ? Of the 17 or so I have 10 recorded with later dates than 06A

The Convincer II with partial VIN 379973 isn´t a Canadian documented COPO, but I have been told it was (at that time) the first built COPO Chevelle after the Yenko´s built. It was built late in May and sold by Holsey Chevrolet on 06/10/69. I do not know if any earlier COPO Chevelles have surfaced since then.

Was trying to determine if an 06B copo chevelle [I believe delivery date was June 16] was the earliest of the 17 or so cars to go to canada . Ive been told by two people it is, was just trying to verify for certain.

Chuck, the sYc COPO chevelle list shows a B397XXX chevelle listed as GM of Canada and none before it say Canada. The build month and week for that VIN is 06D. Not sure if there are others that aren't identified prior to that one but that is what the list shows right now. take care, Andy

I have an 06B canada copo w 38xxxx vin . Thanks for the info

Of the 31 I have listed B388611 is the earliest.
