DO THE ORIGINAL 1969 HURST 4 SPEED SHIFTERS HAVE A BUILD DATE CODED STAMPED SOME WHERE ON THEM

Yes the OEM Hurst shifters have a stamped date on them at least most did.
I have been collecting Hurst stuff for many years and documented the dates on original shifter cars
an example is 29D21C for Feb. 1969
