A-Body Kooks 3 inch Mandrel Bent Exhaust System
 

Hi Gang,

For sale here is a mint condition Kooks 3 inch true mandrel bent exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers. This was made for my friend's '69 442 with long tube headers but he has decided to go a different [read: original motor] route with the car. Welds are a work of art. "X" pipe design. Stainless steel throughout. Tail pipes have flanges for bolt on/bolt off accessibility to the rear. Made for GM A-body.

Retail price was almost double asking price. $1000.00 OBO... prefer local pick up but can support with shipping.

cutlass or 442? where they made for a notched 442 bumper for trumpet tips?

maybe the tail pipes are switched? because in the last pic, they dont spread wide enough to come out of the notch..any pics on the car at the rear bumper?

100% a 442. I couldn't get the tail pipes to sit in the right position for the last photo. They were made fit the indents of the bumper. I'll work on pics from my buddy... Hang tight and thanks for the note.

i have a 68 cutlass convert, and bought a cut out bumper new for it...id like to use the bumper..lol....

any idea what it will take to ship as far as freight or fedex etc?

Hi Jeff, thanks for the note... as stated in the original post, it is a Kooks brand exhaust system made by Kooks when they were located in Long Island.
