1969 Camaro Console - LOCATED.
 

<span style="font-size: 11pt">The <span style="font-weight: bold">top half </span>of my 1969 Camaro console is damaged so I'm looking for an original replacement. Would prefer the top half section only in original condition,<span style="font-style: italic"> with or without</span> storage door, ashtray, hardware, wiring, shifter plate or bumpers. None with previous repairs or damage. Will consider complete console however not looking for a restored assembly. 1969 only as 1968 consoles are slightly different. Please PM with details and photos, thanks. </span>

It looks like the part he is looking for is badly broken by the ashtray. A pretty common broken area.

I noticed the same thing, in the Craigslist photo (link from John S) the console shows considerable damage above the ashtray lid. Mine is cracked in the same location and would not be an easy repair to make undetectable. There are plenty of consoles around hopefully someone has a core I can use.
