Tach - Steering Column Mount

I am looking to mount a tach on the steering column of my '69 Camaro, 3 3/8" diameter.

Recommendations?

Thanks.

Old school....Hose Clamp.

Or are you looking for which Tach to run? Day 2 or modern.... lot's of good options.

Remember that part of the barrel on the column turns whenever you shift an automatic, (even floor shift) or shift into reverse for a floor mount manual. Unless of course the linkage has been removed, in which case it is free to rotate at any time. You'll need to control that, if you mount on that part of the column.

Re: Tach - Steering Column Mount

I have the tach, rebuilt SW.

I can mount this either on the steering colum or on the dash carrier, mounted on the side of the speedometer.

This is for a Yenko Recreation. Trying to mimic what would have been on a real Yenko.

Thanks.
