Gents,
Can you kindly support the decode of this cowl tag. I'm very nice to 1967 cars. Thanks, Dan |

Looks like someone liked the Pace car enough to RPO order a car just like it.

Dead nuts to a pacer P would be SS/350

Why not a pacer? No O-1? No fleet number? I think there is more to it than that.

Re: 1967 Camaro Cowl Tag Decode
I bought from original owner a white w blue interior 67 that was ordered as a copy of a pacecar copy for a 16 year old kid. His Dad would not let him by the pacecar that was at the dealership when they arrived, but he ordered a 6 cyl. copy !! It was a neat car.

Could be an L30/M20 equipped car too. |
Re: 1967 Camaro Cowl Tag Decode
Obviously this one's not but of note, the first '67 Z-28's and L78's had 4P tags too. ~ Pete |
Re: 1967 Camaro Cowl Tag Decode
Pretty sure a 2M with 4P is 2 sp powerglide with 350 eng. Couldn't be
A L30/M20. Doesn't have the 2L for 4 sp. |
