Cars on my Way Into Work....
I'll post a few pics over the next few days of various cars that I drive past each day that catch my eye. Always curious as to what they are, or what they could be....
Here is one that I've been driving past for 2 years now, and it has never moved - been for sale the whole time. Looks like a decent Father / Son project as a first car or a base race car, even has the 350TPI option - the price looks pretty good. http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h6...pstac1tzkd.jpg http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h6...psxpgvaqu0.jpg |
Re: Cars on my Way Into Work....
Was looking at one of those a little while back, and the 350 is a bonus. That's a good deal as I believe that's a future collectible for sure.

2500 bucks for an L98 Formula??? If that was within driving distance I'd be on my way to get it right now.

Re: Cars on my Way Into Work....
Yea, on the surface it appears to be a good deal - primarily because of the 350.
I must be driving through '68-'69 Chevelle country every morning! This one has been next to this gas station / garage for at least the last 13 years: http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h6...psmvmm9mhv.jpg This one is barely noticeable, but the owner must have punched the garage door over the Winter and it won't shut. So, this project car became visible: http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h6...ps9kfrpsdi.jpg This one showed up last November, sans doors, and was left outside all Winter. It's a long range pic, but appears to have a white interior: http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h6...psx5pvbmcv.jpg |

Here's something I spotted on the way to lunch a couple of months back.

Re: Cars on my Way Into Work....
Man, that vega almost looks photoshop'd, its so small compared to that minivan and truck! Maybe its just me....
Old5.0, if you want to keep some of your finds like that cool vega private, block out the dealer tag next time on the minivan. I bet someone is already hunting it in Olathe considering this is a Yenko site . Try to get there first, you found it first! |
Re: Cars on my Way Into Work....
The number on the telephone pole will also give the exact location. It's a shame we have to be so careful. I agree with you that it does look a little small and I cannot see any reflection (I know it's dirty) on the side of the Chevy truck.
