Strickler racecar and Melrose Missille ???
 

So my Pop was visiting his cousin in DC over the weekend and his cousin told him about another cousin of his that has about 50 cars stored including a real Striclker car and a Melrose Missile car and a few other race cars also..Says he's had them for years and he won't let anyone even see them. I am typically a skeptic, but my Dad's cousin is prior owner of Cecil County Drag strip.

Anyone else heard of this stash of cars?

Why wouldn't he let anyone see them? What's the sense in having cool cars if you aren't going to share them with others who might enjoy them?

Marco does have quite a collection of race cars and his family owned the track for a while.

just to clear things up... my cousin (actually my dad's cousin, so somehow my third cousin or something) was the founder of Cecil co. dragway. His name is not Marco. It is Procopio.. I posted a pic a few years ago. I'll try to post again... Ill try ask my dad if he knows the name of the cousin of our cousin. [img]https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/pics...949_1051937101[/img]

Besides Cecil Cty. Drag-O-Way, Al Procopio was a founder of Capitol and Aquasco drag strips too.
