NOS AC Spark Plugs 443XLS GM Hi-Perf !396-427-454
 

Cool item for you day 2 guys or just Hi-Perf collectors. Set of 8 AC Spark plugs for Aluminum head big block applications. These were part of the GM Performance Parts group from 1970. All boxes are dated 70 . Outer box has some shelf wear but inner boxes are all nice and all plugs are clean as new. These plugs are cool as they were modified in the electrode design by only having part of the electrode covered by the tip for better performance as was a common drag racers trick back in the day. Not sure if it actually made any difference in performance but still kind of neat that the manufacturer was actually trying to cater to the hot rod guys.
Instead of the typical green graphics and stripes on the production plugs these are black with the checkered flag on each plug.
